Activity: Investigate the State of Matter

◦In groups of three’s

◦Instructions:

-Fill the first bag with water.

-The second with air (i.e. your breath).

-In the third place a pencil or other handy school supply.

-Investigate the shape, weight and form of the contents of each bag.

-Open the bag of water and pour it into a cup.

– Identify and describe the physical properties of each state of matter.
